Our Pine Farmhouse Dining Tables are made in England using timbers we reclaim from old buildings. They are reproductions
of the finest old pine tables we have found in decades of searching.
For us its not enough that our pine tables look just like originals. We insist that they are put together in exactly
the same way that antique pine tables have been made in England for hundreds of years.
Our farmhouse tables are built using traditional methods. Even more importantly, they are built with traditional care and
attention to detail. Each plank is properly married to its neighbour with 'fillets' and not glued like less meticulous
examples. The frames are mortised and tenoned by hand. Beechwood pegs hold the frames absolutely rigid.
Finally, each rustic pine table is meticulously hand finished with 3 coats of wax to give it a beautiful, deep lustre.
Customers select the size of the table they require. They also choose the color tone and finish of their table
(see our pictures for an idea of the range available).
There is also a choice of leg styles available. The most popular leg is our English Farmhouse turned leg, closely followed
by our tapered Country French leg. We also have a very imposing Library leg, although it looks just as at home in a dining
These informal antique pine tables possess tremendous character and our finish allows this to shine through. Each knot,
burl and undulation is emphasized rather than hidden. They really have the look of antique pine tables found in farmhouse
kitchens in Yorkshire 100 years ago. They are a focal point in any informal dining room.
